The Youthful category in the 2013 Motorist Choice Awards honors the car that excels at making its drivers feel young, while the Cosmopolitan category recognizes the model that offers prestige or quiet refuge in an urban setting. To earn a Motorist Choice Award, each vehicle was also required to have a low predicted five-year cost of ownership. The two new awards for the Acura ILX are just the latest accolades suggesting the sedan is resonating with its target demographic, as it was recently the only luxury model to make a top 10 list for Generation Y car buyers compiled by J.D. Power and Associates.

Pairing a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an Integrated Motor Assist electric motor, the 2014 Acura ILX Hybrid returns up to 39 mpg in the city. Meanwhile, buyers receive a range of standard in-car technologies, including Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, integration with Pandora Internet radio and SMS text messaging, and a Keyless Access System with smart entry and push-button start. For the most tech-savvy drivers, a Technology Package is available with an ELS Surround audio system, the Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition, and AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic and Real-Time Weather.
