Cartier’s Pre-SIHH 2014 release of the Balloon Bleu De Cartier Floral-Marquetry Parrot watch is a limited edition work of art that doubles as a jeweled accessory courtesy its many diamonds along a burst of colour.
The 20 timepieces aim to capture the ephemeral beauty of flowers on a rhodium-plated 18kt white and pink gold case and dial.
As many as 124 round diamonds totalling 1.80 carats make up for all the bling a lady could possibly need; additions like the blue sapphire on the crown and the emerald eye of the parrot are signs of the attention to detail, the French brand is known for.
