Refreshed Mercedes AMG GT spec revealed


The spec for the new Mercedes AMG GT has been revealed with some excellent exterior styling improvements.

It’s one of the most stylish and impressive cars available today and the refreshed Mercedes AMG GT will certainly build on its popularity.

Available as a Coupe and Roadster, the AMG GT features a number of enhancements, including new LED high-performance headlights and exhaust tailpipes.

There are also some exterior styling tweaks and the new equipment includes a parking assistant along with rear and front view cameras with parking sensors.

The hand-built engine will produce 476 hp with torque of 630 Nm to help propel the GT from 0 to 62 mph in four seconds and on to a top speed of 189 mph.

Opt for the AMG GT S Coupe and Roadster, then the engine produces 557 hp with slightly more torque to reach 62 mph in 3.8 seconds. The top speed for the S Coupe is 193 mph.

Alongside this impressive performance, the handling characteristics of the car remain impressive and there’s a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster to monitor all of the car’s vital information.

Handling is dealt with using a responsive AMG performance steering wheel with touch control buttons that help that cover the ‘Track Pace’ offering.

The new Mercedes AMG GT is available now, with prices starting at £104,000 for the Coupe and £116,000 for the Roadster with the first deliveries arriving in May.
