Italian luxury fashion house Fendi has opened its first standalone men’s flagship boutique in Southeast Asia. Located on the second level of Takashimaya Shopping Centre in Ngee Ann City, the 123 square metres retail destination is a canvas for the brand to showcase its latest offerings from the Fendi universe. The storied maison’s Roman sensibilities get intertwined with the cosmopolitanism of Singapore — a crossroads between tradition and contemporaneousness.
From afar, visitors approaching the new boutique will first notice its striking facade that combines silver elements with an interactive, semi-transparent LED screen. Playing on it are videos and images of Fendi’s latest campaigns, which also serve as style inspiration. A panoramic view of the boutique’s interior could also be peeked outside.
Once visitors are enthralled and piqued by the boutique’s exterior, the entrance is a portal that transports them into the world of Fendi. Its interior brings forth a warm and masculine atmosphere as a result of the synergy between patterns and precious materials. This further accentuates the dualism of Fendi codes.
The centrepiece of this new location is undoubtedly the Green Patagonia marble that features perspective cuts with luxurious silver and champagne metal finishes. Complementing harmoniously with the surrounding green tones of silk, mirrored tables and plush leather furniture, the space is once again elevated to another level. Visitors can immerse themselves fully into appreciating what Fendi has to offer.
Additionally, the boutique includes a unique VIP lounge apart from the regular shopping area. With finishing made of Alaska White marble, a stylish modern ceiling, and comfortable ivory carpeting, this unique space emanates a feeling of dapper masculinity and understated grandeur. The VIP lounge is intended to give Fendi’s distinguished customers a chic shopping experience.
Local celebrities like Lawrence Wong, Elvin Ng, Ayden Sng, Romeo Tan, Benjamin Kheng and others were invited to join the celebrations at the grand opening. Many donned the latest Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
Most recently, Fendi expanded its physical presence with two new flagship boutiques in Omotesando and Seoul.
