Moncler Group reports revenue increase of 17 percent in the first 9 months of 2023 to a total of EUR 1.8 billion, with double digit growth for both brands – Moncler and Stone Island. In the third quarter, revenues stood at EUR 669.7 million, up 7.0 percent from 2022.
As for Moncler’s revenues, these amounted to EUR 1.49 billion in the first nine months of the year, up 21 percent from 2022, when they were EUR 1.25 billion.In the third quarter, the brand’s revenues were EUR561.2 million.
By geographic region, revenues in Asia grew 32 percent to EUR705.3 million over the first nine months of 2022. In EMEA they increased 19 percent to EUR573.2 million and in the Americas they rose 4.0 percent to EUR217.8 million.
Stone Island revenues were EUR310.0 million from EUR304.1 million and up 3.0{90af24ee0c8b2ef579cdad993725641a0bcc8b6dba22687e081e6e20320a17a5} from September 30, 2022. Third quarter revenues reached EUR108.5 million, in line with the same period last year.
By geo-regional area, EMEA reported revenues up 3.0{90af24ee0c8b2ef579cdad993725641a0bcc8b6dba22687e081e6e20320a17a5} to EUR225.0 million from nine months 2022, Asia grew 14{90af24ee0c8b2ef579cdad993725641a0bcc8b6dba22687e081e6e20320a17a5} to EUR57.8 million, and the Americas grew 18{90af24ee0c8b2ef579cdad993725641a0bcc8b6dba22687e081e6e20320a17a5} to EUR27.2 million.
By distribution channel, wholesale revenues fell to EUR343.3 million from EUR349.4 million in the first nine months 2022, while the DTC channel grew to EUR1.15 billion from EUR903.0 million in the same period last year.
Moncler on Thursday closed 2.7 percent in the red at EUR51.86 per share.
