Ed Sheeran’s cousin Jethro Sheeran has joined the Vincent Van Gogh biopic film, entitled “Van Gogh” as Soundtrack Producer. Jethro’s recording artist name is “aLonestar.” He has had multiple Billboard charts hits and has collaborated with musicians such as Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Macy Gray, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Wu-Tang, Shatta Wale, Akon, DaBaby, Young Thug, Future, Trippie Redd, and Pusha T.
Jethro’s Album, “Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica” featuring Reggae legend, Bob Marley’s sons, Damian and Stephen Marley, hit number #1 on the Billboard Charts. Jethro has also produced and written several hit songs with his cousin Ed Sheeran.
When Ed first embarked on his career in London, Jethro was a protective, nurturing and encouraging mentor to Ed as he entered the music business. The cousins still maintain a close relationship.

The Van Gogh movie is being produced by Van Gogh historian, writer and film producer, Kira Madallo Sesay, through her company Kalliope Films.

Sadly, Vincent Van Gogh died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. In honor of Vincent’s struggle with Bipolar disorder, the goal of the Van Gogh movie soundtrack is to spread mental health awareness and to help prevent suicide.
Jethro Sheeran states, “I was so attracted to this movie ‘Van Gogh.’ The script has so much depth with feeling, art emotion and expression.”
He continues, “If I could write a song to make people feel through music that there is light at the end of the tunnel and we will get through it, save lives and help others, that is something I desire more than anything on this earth. To save just one person or help the whole world.“
The “Van Gogh” biopic is the result of over 7 years of on the ground research about Van Gogh. In an effort to truly walk in Vincent’s footsteps, screenwriter producer, Kira Madallo Sesay, traveled to every location where Vincent, lived worked or visited. As a result of this extensive research, new information about Vincent Van Gogh will be revealed in the film for the first time. Kira is also writing a book about Van Gogh.

Jethro Sheeran is putting together an ensemble of celebrity musicians for the Van Gogh movie soundtrack to help share a message of hope and healing. The singer, Simonna, will be performing a song on the soundtrack to inspire and uplift those suffering from depression.
