Kurono unveils the "Calligra" Special Project

Kurono Tokyo

Kurono Tokyo founder Hajime Asaoka taps into his art school background to use his training in lettering to design a typeface for his new “Calligra” Special Project. Each Breguet marker was hand-drawn by Asaoka, which were then used as a template for the final watch. The end result is an elegant timepiece with a 34mm stainless steel case and powering it is Miyota 90s5 automatic, which has a power reserve of 40 hours. The watch is available in Stark Black, Silver White, and Dark Mop and is fitted to a black calf leather strap with white stitching.

The watches have been produced in a limited run and will not be sold again. The “Calligra” Special Project will go on sale on February 23rd at 6AM.
