Nivada Grenchen reissues the rare Antarctic GMT

Nivada Grenchen

A throwback to the Jet Age, Nivada Grenchen revives the Antarctic GMT, an original design from the 1970s. The watch features a dive-ready, 36mm stainless steel case fitted with a thick Plexiglass crystal and a slim 11.1mm profile.

The case features one crown that controls the 24-hour, amber-toned inner bezel that lets you track a second time zone while the other is used for setting the time. And just like the original model, the GMT hand features a checkered red and black finish.

Powering the watch is a SOPROD C125 automatic, which has a power reserve of 42 hours. Three strap options are available: a brown or black leather perforated strap, a “Beads of Rice” steel bracelet, or a tropic rubber strap.

Now available at Nivada Grenchen’s online store.
