The Ultimate Titanium Gold Watch

Originally introduced in 1976 as a quintessential example of retro-futurist design, the Girard-Perregaux Casquette has been reimagined in its latest iteration, the Casquette 2.0. The new model features a brushed grade 5 titanium case and bracelet, complemented by 18K 2N yellow gold pushers and logo, reminiscent of the original gold-plated models from the 1970s.

The new Casquette 2.0 boasts a unique case design, measuring 33.6mm at its widest point and 42.4mm in length, with a display side thickness of 14.6mm. Its sapphire crystal is recessed for added protection and offers high scratch resistance, while the watch provides a water resistance rating of 50 meters.

The retro logo atop the case, along with the pushers on either side, is crafted from 18K yellow gold, lending a touch of vintage charm while maintaining an understated elegance.

Housed inside is the backward-compatible GP3980-1474 module, allowing the wearer to check the time on demand and extend battery life. Like the original Casquette, this modern version displays hours, minutes, seconds, day, and date. The titanium bracelet is lined with rubber, offering exceptional softness and flexibility.

The new Casquette 2.0 in titanium and gold is now available for $4,960, with only 820 pieces produced. Existing GP watch owners can secure priority access through the brand’s website until November 14th.
