The West Palm Beach restaurant scene has never been hotter, and Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar and Pizzeria is setting out to prove the city is on the cusp of becoming one of south Florida’s top dining destinations.

Big Time Restaurant Group debuted the first Elisabetta’s location in Delray Beach back in 2019. Just two years later, a waterfront West Palm Beach sibling splashed onto the scene offering breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway.

For alfresco dining, request a coveted table on the beautifully designed, pet-friendly patio filled with plants and flowers hanging from a trellis above along with illuminated trees contributing to the stunning setting.

Inside, there is a small bar where diners can watch chefs creating perfectly prepared Neapolitan-style pizzas along with an enormous main dining room.

The scratch kitchen here serves up an impressive array of house made pasta classics along with specialties created in a wood-burning grill.

Friendly and knowledgeable servers present hungry diners with a sampling of their freshly baked bread served with a side of olive oil with chili pepper flakes for dipping.

The crusty and soft slices are so addictingly good, you may want to overindulge, but be sure to save some room for their specialty dishes. Besides, you can also place an order for a fresh loaf to go, which pairs up nicely with leftovers.

There is a good selection of small dish Aperitivi like Marcona almonds, Sicilian olives, and rice-filled arancini designed for sharing while sipping one of their craft cocktails or a glass of wine from the impressive collection.

Sure, there are traditional staples on the menu here like crispy calamari, carpaccio, and a classic Caesar salad, but where the chefs’ talents truly shine are in dishes like calamari a la plancha sauteed with garlic, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and fresno peppers cooked over wood fire for even more flavor. Meatballs served in a tangy San Marzano tomato sauce topped with fresh parmesan cheese are designed for sharing, but so good you may want an order all for yourself.

Keep an eye out for their nightly specials that feature everything from eggplant alla parmigiana and lasagna to lobster fra diavolo and veal saltimbocca. The flavor filled Rigatoni Bolognese is an absolute must-try dish made with braised beef and veal simmered in Barolo wine.

Elisabetta’s is well regarded around town for their impressive selection of red and white pizzas.

Specialties that can be ordered for the table include Piccante topped with spicy salami, for di latte, and peppadews; and Yellow Tomato Pesto with olives.

For main events, the simply prepared cacio e pepe with Pecorino Romano was made even better thanks to our server’s suggestion of adding chicken.

Try to save some room for dessert as a sweet sampling of freshly made tiramisu, cheesecake, or cannoli is the perfect way to end an enjoyable dining experience and an even better excuse to linger a bit longer to watch the boats sail by.

Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar and Pizzeria is located at 185 Banyan Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida.
