Genesis reveals a refresh for their most popular model with the reveal of the 2026 GV70 and GV70 Electrified. The updated SUV receives a redesigned G-Matrix Crest Grille and multi-lens array headlamps, a new skid plate design, redesigned 19″ and 21″ wheel options, and repositioned turn signals have been aligned with the front headlamps for a more streamlined look.
Inside, the cabin greets passengers with an all-new 27″ OLED display that brings together the instrument cluster and infotainment system and four Nappa leather color options are available for the GV70 with the electrified version two options. Additional interior features include an available 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen surround sound system with Beosonic technology and a triple-zone fully automatic climate control system.
Powering the GV70 are two powertrain options: a 2.5L inline 4 turbo with 300 hp and a 3.5L V6 twin-turbo that produces 375 hp. Comfort and stability is enhanced via a Highway Body Motion Control system and Road Preview tech that uses cameras to monitor the road service, allowing it to adjust the SUV’s suspension.
The electric version also receives a number significant updates such an easier to open and close charging port door, a heating element for winter temperatures, a NACS charging port, and a larger 84 kWh battery. Final range numbers have not yet been announced.
The new GV70 models will be available in the first half of 2025.
