The ‘TERRA’ compass has been designed in partnership between Modem and Panter&Tourron as a screen-free solution that’s focused on a mindful approach to outdoor exploration. The device features a pocket-sized construction that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to guide users along without requiring them to predetermine their route or destination. The unit works by being held in the hand where it will communicate with the user with haptic feedback to guide them on a journey without distracting from their experience.
Modem Co-Founder Bas van de Poel spoke on the ‘TERRA’ compass saying, “TERRA explores how we can reconnect with ourselves and our surroundings in times of relentless digital device distractions.
