Mercedes-Benz releases a new GLC Plug-in Hybrid SUV with an electric range of 54 miles

Mercedes-Benz has just released a new version of the GLC with a plug-in hybrid system that has an EPA-rated range of up to 54 miles. Perfect for most daily commutes, the new GLC 350e 4MATIC SUV produces 313 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque and it can charge at a maximum 60kW (on a DC charger), taking just 30 minutes to get a full charge. When on battery power, the car can travel at speeds of up to 87 mph before the gas engine kicks in. The GLC 350e has 4MATIC all-wheel-drive and comes in three trim levels: Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. 

The Standard trim features their latest 3rd-generation MBUX system, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Digital Vehicle Key support, KEYLESS-GO and KEYLESS START, PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist, and a Self-Levelling System Suspension. The Exclusive Trim adds a Bumester 3D Surround System, Parking Package with Surround View 360 Camera, Guard 360 with Picture Taking Functionality, Enhanced Ambient Lighting, and Illuminated Door Sills. The Pinnacle Trim adds a Head-Up Display, Digital Light with Projections, and Heat and Noise Insulating Glass. 

The GLC 350e 4MATIC SUV is now available.
