Palm House Hotel in Palm Beach is now officially open! – CPP-LUXURY

Palm Beach is set to welcome its first new hotel in four years with the opening of Palm House in November 2024. The property is the first US outpost from London-based L+R Hotels’ Iconic Luxury Hotels collection.

Design by architects Cooper Carry, interior designers Muza Lab and art consultant Minda Dowling reimagines the signature pinks and greens of vintage Palm Beach to create spaces that pay homage to the enduring allure of the island, whilst also establishing new traditions for its next generation. Palm House’s lively, coral façade peeks out from behind coconut palms and lush greenery, while accents of carved, cypress arbors and pale-pink, limestone arches add warm detailing to the charming, three-storey building.  

The property comprises 79 guestrooms, including 21 suites. Rooms are set to be amongst the largest on the island, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, arched doorways and private terraces. Colourful, coral headboards are accented by custom-made, woven wall sconces, all of which are framed by walls adorned with lattice and antique mirrors.  First-floor rooms feature limestone flooring, while carpeting in the upper-floor rooms offers a contemporary interpretation of the markings found on seashells.

The hotel features a range of F&B venues, including Palm Bar, Sunset Pool Deck and Palm House Dining Room. The light-filled Palm Bar is adorned with three custom-made, coral, Murano-glass chandeliers suspended from a vaulted ceiling, while the bar itself is luminous in pink marble.  The floor meanwhile is a mosaic of matte and polished marble that creates a sense of movement beneath an arched, antique-mirrored ceiling.

Moving through an arched doorway, past the outdoor dining patio, guests will find Sunset Pool Deck, where a sunken, heated pool and patio will serve as the hotel’s secluded sanctuary. Finally, a dining room for residents of Palm Beach and hotel guests, Palm House Dining Room will offer all-day dining both indoors and on the outdoor terrace. The versatile, 86-seat room features a mix of banquettes, standalone tables and an open kitchen.
