The new Infiniti QX30 is an impressive addition to the rapidly growing premium crossover segment and should sell well.
Infiniti has created an impressive premium hatchback with its Q30 and this luxury brand – it’s the upmarket arm of Nissan – has just unveiled the QX30.
Unusually, the finished article is fairly close to the original concept version of the Infiniti QX30 which had a stylised exterior and a unique crossover stance.
In addition, the cabin has been well-designed to go with the striking exterior appearance. Infiniti says the QX30 has been designed with a new generation of premium car buyers in mind and its stylish good looks and abilities will appeal.
The Infiniti QX30 has a high ride height
Drivers will find that the Infiniti QX30 has a high ride height and responsive steering to deliver assured handling to underpin its on- and off-road abilities.
Indeed, Infiniti have added an intelligent all-wheel drive system which works well in a variety of driving conditions whether that means driving around town or out in the countryside.
Unlike many premium crossover vehicles, the Infiniti QX30 should perform well off-road with a clutch part-time setup helping to boost its efficiency.
The QX30 is part of Infiniti’s rapid expansion plans and is a global car so all customers, no matter where they are, get more or less the same vehicle.

Infiniti is going from strength-to-strength in the premium vehicle market with China the biggest buyer of its vehicles, closely followed by the US.
For anyone interested in the Infiniti QX30 they will have to wait until the middle of next year when it eventually goes on sale.
There’s no news on prices but expect the QX30 start at £27,000 and the vehicle will be built at Nissan’s plant in Sunderland, alongside the impressive Infiniti Q30.
